Thread: Guilty Gear X2 #Reload comes to Xbox this summer..IN AMERICA!

  1. I forget about those =/

MS3 has Live features too. Humm... is XS still releasing Castle Shisigami (i know I mispelled that) on Xbox? Thats a larger number of 2D games on Xbox than I would have imagined.

I hope #R has something to address dropping problems, too, but I won't hold my breath.
Well just play against people you somewhat know, like from these boards and Gamecombos etc. and that shouldn't be an issue...

Xbox live is getting ST, 3S, DOAU, Chaos, KoF, etc...it is going to be the platform to go to for fighters live...
"50,000! You scored 50,000 points on Double Dragon?"

  3. With all of these fighters going Live on XB does anyone have a good recommendation for an arcade stick for the Box?
I thought you were gay.... i guess not.

I use the "Real Arcade Universal" stick by Pelican that I bought from Gamestop. It feels good and has a port for the communicator, which is a huge plus. The only fault I can find with it is that sometimes it does seem to get stuck in the upper left position, but usually a quick tap down on the stick corrects it.

I'm also in the process of modding a Red Octane arcade joystick cabinet (See picture at bottom) with real arcade buttons and a real arcade stick. I want this custom Xbox joystick to have the memory card slot so I can plug in the communicator into it as well. Anyone have any suggestions on which controller would be good to gut to use for this custom job?

  5. DO NOT. I repeat DO NOT use a Pelican stick.

The one I bought when CvS2 came out couldnt pick up 9/10 of any half circle movements I made. Which as we all know = instant death in a Capcom fighting game. Oh and I couldnt low block either - fucking PoS.

If you have a good stick for the PSII, Saturn, or DC than a Magic Box form Lik Sang will be your best friend. You may lose a button if you use a Saturn based stick - but at least you'll have good control.

TOKYO--According to Japanese Web site Softbank Games, Sammy will release the Xbox edition of Guilty Gear Isuka in Japan. The fighting game is slated for release on December 16 at the price of 5040 yen ($46).

Guilty Gear Isuka was originally released in the arcades and was ported to the PlayStation 2 in July (a stateside release is scheduled for November). The game features a four-player battle where players and/or computer opponents can engage in free-for-alls or team-based matches. Characters can switch between fighting in the foreground of the stage or the background, a feature that can be used to strategically avoid the opponent's moves.

The Xbox edition of Guilty Gear Iskua will allow online playing via Xbox Live. The color edit mode and GG Boost side-scrolling action game mode are confirmed to be in the Xbox edition. Whether the game has the other bonuses that were in the PS2 edition, such as the new character A.B.A or the Robo-KYII customization mode, has not been confirmed.

I have not had that problem at ALL with my Pelican Real Arcade, works perfectly every time. You do realize not all Pelican arcade sticks are made the same, and the real arcade is much better than anything else they've put out.

  8. Yeah, Jetman, I have a Universal Real Arcade and it's fucking flawless. Your case is unique to you.

  9. Hmm - you guys may have a different one than me. I have the Pelican Trick Stick - What a piece >_<

It was the only fighter stick available when I picked it up - vowed to never touch a Pelican product again after putting up with that thing.

Well. once we get in a heated fight on LIVE and you two lose out to me you can always blame it on your Pelican stick.

I'd prefer not to have to worry about controller issues while playing - which I will do if I buy another Pelican.

  10. This may be a really silly question, but is there a PS to XBox converter that supports the headset? I have an oldass (PS1-era) Hori stick and would much rather use that to play online than the stupid XBox pad. However, using the converters I have seen means sacrificing the headset, which makes playing online not nearly as fun.

Just want to make sure ghetto-hacking a cheap XBox controller is not my only option here.
