Thread: Guilty Gear X2 #Reload comes to Xbox this summer..IN AMERICA!

  1. Can they turn lead into gold too?

Eventually, if you care about ranking (which alot of people do), you've got to play against other people.

And "just playing against friends" kind of defeats the purpose of Xbox Live... I don't think I've EVER gotten a PC game and just "stuck to my friends".

cka is right, it'll turn into the same pull out the plug party CvS 2 was, which is sad.

  3. Awesome news, and it means I can probably forget ever having to scrounge around to find copies of the PS2 GG games.

And you can quote me on that.
quoted it is. I am almost willing to agree with this, we are not in the days of lag-free 2d fighters, and it does affect strategy, but for me the live play is only a nice add on. for me, i dont have a ps2, so my last gg was on the dc version, and i prefer being able to read the manual. So for me this is a great game coming out for a system i like, and thats all that matters to me, add the gravy of a very competitive price tag, and its a sale. if you are only getting this game for the online play, i am willing to bet you will be dissapointed, but if you are getting it because the gg series has usurped the street fighter series for deep 2d hand drawn fighters, and it costs less than a pre-owned version of a lesser game, then you, like me, will be happy. and that gentlemen was my 2 cents, 5 cents canadian.

    Guilty Gear Isuka, PS2 39.99, 11/1/04

Lets hope it gets an Xbox/Live hookup instead of a lame ps2 standalone.
PS2 needs some fucking online play fighting games, wtf is wrong with these people.

This isn't hard, nor rocket science, fighting games need human foes, cpu is not much fun. They need to hurry the hell up and get a modern guilty gear online or someone needs to dump the rom and emulate it already. I don't mind paying for a game but if it lacks such a critical feature as online play whats the point?
Not that I'm ungreatful for Reload, but isuka would be nice is all.

  8. It's $20, and online? I'm there.

  9. Speaking of Isuka, is the balancing and all based upon GGXX or Reload? Or is it something different alltogether?

You can play against your TNL friends. Luckly, i don't care about ranking, either =). Although, since it will be lagalicious, i will have to scrub down my game =(.
