The graphics look fine it just seems a bit more casual than the other racers in some respects.

I might get this but not immediately.

I'll eat those graphics up with a spoon. Bright, colorful, smooth, nice and clean. Those graphics fall into the technically good graphics. You can argue the design/placement of things maybe, but the actual quality of the images is quite good. And it all runs smooth on screen, thus good graphics. Maybe if those mountains look like crap then maybe I would say they are crappy graphics, but they don't. Or if the car looked like crap, but it doesn't. The cars, road, sand, sky, trees, mountains, castle, colors, all look good. It just does, it does not look bad.

The realism aspect seems to be what Samurai is having a problem with. Its an arcade racer, its not a simulation. PGR2 and Rallisport are trying to recreate what you actually see driving in one of those races. OR2 is making up its own world, and its making it to be lighter more fictional and fun.

You can say you like the graphics better in PGR2 or RS2, but you can't say that they are bad in OR2, because they arn't.

The detail is greater than PGR2 and the framerate is double what PGR2 does. Give due credit.

I'm not having a problem with the realsim. I hate simulation. GT 4 can kiss my ass. Arcade racers rule. I'm just saying that compared to other Arcade Racers like Fzero, Burnout 3, even Mario Kart, the demo is extemely boring. Its a snooze fest. I also said that even though the graphics werent that great, the framerate was smooth. Like I said before, I never played the full version of the game. Just the demo. The demo track DID look really blah. If the rest of the game has different tracks and more stuff to do I may check it out. Maybe just to see the Daytona 2 and Super GT stuff.

I beg to differ with the critics. I think the graphics are beatiful. This game represents everything that I love about driving; pedal to the metal and a no-nonsense attitude. It gives me the goosebumps everytime I drive through the 'bridges' level. SWOSH! I own the highway in outrun2.
