Thread: mega man battle network 4

  1. well, there's some info on rockman exe 4.5 here.

    http://www.planet-megaman.com/news//comments.php?id=55

seems as though you'll be able to play as the soul unison characters from part 4, including mega man making a total of 13 characters. there's no real world. everything takes place on the net and there is no lan or other navi operators. you choose the navi you want to use and that's it.

also found a page for the new megaman exe trading card game coming out june 30th here in the states.

i'm kinda interested in how it plays but i don't want to buy it. too much money could be wasted on buying booster packs and such. if it was released as a card game for gba, though, i'd definately pick it up. this series is taking all my money.

(sorry for no hi-per link-age. my computers giving me shit at the moment)

  2. If I was but a wee lad, I would most assuredly play that card game...unless it was really a poor game, at which time I would probably just collect them and put them in a binder or something.

    Yea.

  3. for those of you wondering witch soul unison characters are in what versions, here's a list.

    blue moon=
    aquaman
    protoman
    junkman
    metalman
    numberman
    woodman

    red sun=
    fireman
    gutsman
    roll
    searchman
    thunderman
    windman

i think i'll be getting red sun. what versions does everyone else plan on getting?

oh, and, kidnemo, have you finished mmbn3 yet?

  4. this game is just one more day away for me. anyone else pick it up yet? i've been playing a little bit of mmbn 2 and 3 in the mean time. these games are really good.

  5. Rama - Nope, still haven't beat three. I should try to finish MMBN3 off before I move onto Mario Golf Advance Tour.

And they are really good, very much underrated to imo.

  6. Y'know, I'd've beaten 3 by now if Bass weren't IMPOSSIBLE to beat. A 100 HP aura that just regenerates every time you kill it? Gimme a break.

When did MMBN2 hit the bargain bin? I still see it at $30 =/

i thought so too. here's an easy way to kill him. get sheild style and max it out. get reflect program and equip it. whenever bass uses those little shots reflect them back at thim for 100 damage. you can just keep using reflect and program advances and he's done.

alpha's cake after that. i was just playing some mmbn3. i have 169 of the standard 200 chips. maybe some day i'll get all 200 and fight serenade.

Gamestop and EB sell used copies for 12-15 bucks, plus if you have the discount card you get 10% off of that.

I think my MMBN 2 came to just over 11 bucks.
