I keep hearing how much better the sequels are, and I'm still on MMBN1 =*(
And about the escaping since you can just attach an escape chip to fixed memory, once you get enough ram. Or so I think.Originally Posted by epmode

MMBN2 is much better than MMBN.
MMBN3 from what I've played seems to be better than MMBN2, though the number of improvements isn't as great as from 1 -> 2.
And that ghost navi part doesn't sound very appealing.

That's not true, you just have to look harder.Originally Posted by Kidnemo

For some reason 2 felt slow and clunky to me, but I think I was so burned out on it because I had just went through 3, and then part 1 again.

No.
It is true.
yes yes yes. all the running around in the mmbn games is pretty sickening, but i don't really care after this point. i played through most of mmbn3 so, i guess i'm just kinda used to having to run around aimlessly to look for a bunch of bullshit. the story's pretty stupid as well, but the game play just keeps me right there with it. sure, you're running around a lot, but while your doing that your finding more chips...more chips means better folders and more program advances...not only that, you're building up money to buy chips, programs and whatever else. i'm pretty much just looking on the bright side for this series. if i just payed attention to how much i had to do annoying side quests i'd have stoped at mmbn1 myself.
there's an actual side quest in the game where you have to "run errands" for solar boy. and when i say "run errands" i just mean "find some bullshit to get cool chips". it was pretty cool, though.Originally Posted by Bacon McShig
