It looks a lot more comfortable than the SP and original. Where's the speaker holes though, I hope there's two speakers.

Aside from the previously mentioned $250-$299 price PSP will have to fight against the announcement that SquareEnix has a DS games in the works and all the PSP has is That Grimreaper game. Also if the PSP sticks with the current control setup that is shown in the "mock-up" (flush-to-the-surface pad and buttons) I may never buy one.Originally Posted by evil ways

I don't think that's a good argument though. Nintendo made a lot more money than Sony in that era. Hell, they make more than Sony's and Microsoft's game divisions now. The only real certainty in this industry is that Nintendo will always make tons of cash. I think the DS is proof of their experience actually. It's innovative, inexpensive, practical, backwards compatible, it looks like it really is gonna bring something new to the table and be accessible to everyone. I wouldn't bet against them on this one.Originally Posted by Zerodash

Nintendo's got the most interesting stuff so far this year. Those DS games, Donkey Kong drumming platformer...way better than anything like EA going multiplatform with their online games.
I don't know if anybody saw this, but the front cover of USA Today has a big picture of the Nintendo DS with a full story about its announcement. I just thgouht that was pretty cool.
wait, there aren't any shoulder buttons at all?
im sure the system will look very similar to that, but im sure what USA Today has is just a moke up. it's clearly a render. there's no stylus, or even a Nintendo logo on it. not to mention no speakers.
like i said, im sure it'll look like that, but i know that isn't an actual picture of the system. we'll see it for sure soon enough. 33 minutes to go until the press conference starts.
