The design reminded me of a Tiger Game.com for a second... which can only be a bad thing.
What it does is at least unique, and I'm still interested to see and hear more about what it can do and what games are available for it.
I can't express how little this impresses me.
Ugliest. Handheld that's not part of the Handheld market. Ever.

Looks like one of those generic Texas Instruments calculators.
Sad...
So sad...
Damn, I'm disappointed. If Nintendo loses the handheld market, they are doomed...they sure seem doomed now.
The track design in that pic is the same shape as Yoshi.
A Yoshi track.
A Yossi track just like in DD.
I think today's PSP unveiling is going to put serious hurt on Nintendo unfortunately... even if the DS is great.
Did you guys ever consider the possibility that those shots are from D.D. and they just put them on to give an idea of how one screen would be play and the other would be a map?Originally Posted by Zerodash
I like the way it looks (buttons and simple design), but I still think its a silly gimmick. There is no reason for the map of the mario kart track to have its own screen.
Not at the price tag I've seen thrown around.Originally Posted by NoFace

Nintendo will probably drop the price of the GBA to make it an even more attractive option for people who don't want to upgrade to a new portable right away or those looking to pick up a different color SP. At the same time they'll hit Sony with the DS. One-two punch.
It's only one pic. I'm pretty sure you'll be able to get a behind the kart view with that second screen during the race.I like the way it looks (buttons and simple design), but I still think its a silly gimmick. There is no reason for the map of the mario kart track to have its own screen.![]()
