It's still the best move in fighting game history, Shoryuken be damned!
Clean counter-hit, actually.Originally Posted by Destin

I think some of the Ultimate combos in KI are the coolest. It really looks like you completely dsimantle the other guy 100x over. But that's me.
I like the moves that look brutally painful in real life and could be done moves myself.Like Hwang in SC backwards throw. The one wear he elbows the guy in the chops the sametime his sword lands and pierces the opponents belly. Or killik's left knee cap, right knee cap, then balls throw with his bo. Nightmares butt end in the face throw with his giant sword. Or Wolf's clothesline from hell that looks like he uses enough force to take off the guys head. Cool some stuff like that.
Nightmare has this counter punch that quick and has flying properties when uses as a counter hit BTW. I actually won a lot of matches with my first punch landed due to ring outs. So that's better than 40%.One punch and the opponent sleeps forever.
Guess folks don't have time to march up to the arcades, this being hoilday season.
I made it to the local mall today, and surprise, surprise there it was. And with crummy, too-loose-to-be-taking-seriously controls as well! I didn't even have to ask!!
I got in a few rounds with a Steve Fox guy(knew a little a Baek, too). I had my favorite, Xaioyu. He cleaned house. And didn't hesitate to gloat about it on his phone("Ahh, I thought a had some competition. You were saying...") Flippin' blowhard. I was mad. And not for the insults themselves(though it kind of irks me to have total strangers trying to put your game down), the arcade was completely deserted, meaning no one was bearing any wittness to our fights(correction, Murders. The guy put me down easily). So he decided to be his own audience, I guess.
But I'm over that. Uncomfortible sticks aside, I was having fun look at the new bells and whistles the new instalement had. I even got the clever Memory 'Credit' Card thighy the machine spits out.
I'm going to speak off hand for a second. I really like the big push that Namaco is giving there title in this instalement. Features like the Memory Card only do well in offshore arcades, so I'm impressed Namaco is taking the risk on this market.
That being said, I don't know who I'm going to include as my primary character for my card. Xaioyu seems like a simply enough choose. Speed has always be my primary chose for any fighter, but on the other hand, I want to do combos like anyone else! Xaioyu cancel heavy design is losing its appeal on me. I want combos, dammit. Save the dancing and twirls for that conniption fit of a fighter, Christie.
I rammble too much. Korly, how'd the tourney go? I'm interested at least.
Korly pheonix smashered his way up to 4th place.
Check out Mr. Businessman
He bought some wild, wild life
On the way to the stock exchange
He got some wild, wild life
Impressive.
I'm guessing the prize winnings only went up to 1st and 3rd, though.
Who was used most, if I could pick yer brain further. Any of the new characters?
The roo perphaps?
And who won, naturally.
I'm still getting used to posting after 10pm, so excuse me if I sound,...stupid.
