Thread: Tekken 5

  1. There we go, so, everyone who wants to play thier online games can play MK Deception. On that Note, im going to the mall to play some T5.
    Check out Mr. Businessman
He bought some wild, wild life
On the way to the stock exchange
He got some wild, wild life

  2. Too bad MK Deception is god-awful. The fact that most Japanese fighters are in higher regard at TNL even with the insane anti-Japan bias here says a lot.

(My standards are not terribly high in this regard... I mean, shit, I play DoA:U online and that is not all that great.)

  3. The 3 new Time Release characters are out now in America: Bruce, Wang, and Kuma/Panda.

Wang has a monkey that you can purchase for 500,000g.

    New Characters:

The closer Wang gets to looking like Pai Mei, the better.

  4. Wang.

Bruce looks pretty badass in this. Is um...shit... can't remember his name, but the dead soldier, is he in this? Has white hair, some powerful hard hitting moves. He's one of my favorites.

  5. Bryan Fury is still in the game.

I found Kuma to be a poor mans version of Gunjack, and felt that the bear was included in Tekken 4 due to his absence.

But now that we have Gunjack in this inslatement, is Kuma all that necessary? Maybe a just haven't paid enough attention to Kuma/Panda's rooster of moves, but in performance(Gunjack's Low attacking Russain-Dance type move; Panda's Sitting Multi Punch attack, also Low) they seem pretty similar.

    Oh well.

I'm being continually impressed by T5. Using your own Playsation controllers for the cabinet versus using the given ones levels out the performance of matches impressively. I can see myself packing up my own for competitions easily. This really helps if I'm coimg from out of town, and I'm stuck with mushy or poor performing controllers.

  7. Bruce has a giant wang, btw

  8. Still no machines in Boston that I know of, and there's none close to where I am in PA for break. Lame. I'm probably not even going to get to play this until the PS2 version comes out.

  9. Uh... Goodtimes had Tekken 5 since it pretty much came out. That's in the Boston area.

For the longest time, I've been told it was a pain in the ass to get to from where I live, that I'd have to take the T and a couple buses, and I should just wait until I could find someone with a car to take me.

I actually looked at their website right now and it turns out I can walk there from Sullivan Square. I am never listening to anyone I know for directions ever again.
