$40 for the system + $10 for the game seems like money better spent to me. At least then I have the option of getting cheap controllers and playing the better multiplayer.

  2. The N64 game has the smeary, shitty N64 graphics though. Not a small problem.

Good advice. And Conker wasn't even anywhere close to top tier.

    bullshit
Conker was better then all those games mentioned
Conker took everything good from past Rare platformers & took out all the tedious collect em crap

IMHO Rayman 2, Mario 64 & Conker's Bad Fur Day are the greatest platformers ever
Sly Cooper/Ractchet & Clank etc imho aren't even close to those games

Oh no you didn't...you did not just say Conker is miles ahead of Sly...

ratchet/clank is awesome, Mario tops them all, jak is a good game but i prefer ratchet. Sly i found it extremly boring.

with that said, do you recommend conker xbox?

  6. I see a lot of shit talking, but nothing behind it.
What exactly about Conker makes it so horrible?
I'm not in love with the game or anything, but for all the people knocking it, I'd like to know what I'm missing and makes it so bad.
But this being TNL, maybe that is too much to ask.

  7. I really liked Conker. It looked really good for it's time, Rare got rid of the collectathon that was bogging down their platformers and was a really well focused game. Lots of variety, some great VO work (and lip synch) with some really funny parts. And I thought the ending was great too. I consider Conker to be one of Rare's best games.

    it's TNL dear!

  9. I just finished viewing a trailer for this game on television and I have to admit that I am thoroughly impressed. The multiplayer looks fun, the game looks zany and entertaining enough to keep my attention, and I never touched the original.

Have you gone back and tried to play a game like that without dual analog? It's torture. Everytime I try to get good at GoldenEye again I remember what an exercise in pain it is to revert.
    Time for a change
