Conker: Live and Reloaded

Never played Conker on N64, but the Xbox version isn't funny at all. The dialogue moves soooooo damned slowly that all failed attempts at jokes are particularly painful, making me want to punch some British dudes in the face instead of continue playing the game.

It's the fucking truth, Conker sounds like a retarded child, not a drunk rodent.

I never played the N64 version so this is new to me but so far its ok. The one big negative I have with this game so far besides the stupid and slow dialogue is all the constant blurring/depth of field effects. Its beyond overboard and it gave me a headache. Blur/Depth of Field + low res (and no anisotropy filtering) is not good for my eyes. Too bad this isn't on pc or something..high res would do wonders as the game has nice graphics.

Bleeps can be turned off. You just have to unlock the option first.

You stole the game off the net didnt you? As far as I know the game doesnt even ship till tomorrow, so if your really lucky you might get it tomorrow night. Everyone else should get it on Wednesday.

Nope.. I don't own the game. My pal stole that crap..I would never waste my time downloading games like Conker and I haven't tried it online as my friend's xbox cant use xbox live due to the mod chip.

As for the depth of field effects..ugh..its awful and I couldn't take it anymore. Its totally overused. Didn't bother my friend though. Maybe since I'm primarily a pc gamer the low res is what bothered me...maybe you'll be ok with it.

A guy at my work was talking about picking it up (told me that it would be in EB tomorrow)...The whole time he was talking about it, I was thinking that it would be a waste of $$$...Im not even going to put it on my HD to try it...
