Look nice. I wasn't expecting this much from teh PSP. Is it full action or are these scripted events put in action by the use of cards?

Heh, I was playing a little CFC2 to kill some time yesterday and I checked my stats: 68+ hours, 500+ matches. The game just doesn't get old.Originally Posted by Videodrone
I never thought MGS had decent gameplay to begin with, so this card aspect makes me more interested than less. At least I won't have to worry about shooting blindly due to fixed camera angles.

what's up with you guys being so sure this is a card game? i mean, clearly they just changed the equip menus since the screen is much smaller.
You're right, that was a very good game. I totally forgot about that one, too.Originally Posted by Videodrone
As a matter of fact, I am kinda talking out of my ass, now that I sit down and think about it. A few reasons of support against myself:
1) I really enjoyed Card Fighters Clash/Pokemon TCG GBC.
2) This is Hideo Kojima.
3) This is Metal Gear Solid.
I can get into a card game, I would just prefer a more stealth oriented adventure.
Judging by the screens, it doesn't look like a card game to me. It simply appears to have card that use can use for bonus's as an added element.Originally Posted by Johnny Nighttrain

The graphics are hip, but if I slagged on PSO for turning into a card game I cant really give this one a pass.
Also in the screenshots you can clearly see Snake being very active in the game, implying that it could just have a card element attached to it. In the short short movie that they showed earlier today, it did show him kicking some guys ass. We'll see tomorrow, I hope.
An MGS game with card-based movement and action seems like a novel idea to me. I'd really like to play it, assuming it's anything like I'm imagining it.
That said, it's probably not. Shit, with this and all the DS announcements, the new Musashi, and so forth, this E3 is full of incredible shit. PSP and DS are both going to be eating significant chunks of my cash on launch.
I echo Nick and Johnpv's sentiments.
