I'm glad I had my eyes pre-wide eyed before I clicked on the thread to see your response. It was as ridiculous as I expected it to be.

Compare Yoshi trash-talking Dead or Alive Ultimate and using, of all games, Samurai Showdown 5 (Which reuses even MORE sprites than CFJ) to somehow prove his point which boils down to "OMFG 2-D 4EVER LOZL I SPIT ON 3-D!!1"

Compare his rabid stupidity to me calling on him on it, and then having me go to another thread, call CFJ dated looking and then turning around and saying-

I'm not at all impressed by this...

At least Guy is in the roster, which almost makes up for the rest of the game looking like ass. Looks pretty much CvS2 with warzard characters.

You know, this could have been cool if they included every character from every Capcom fighting game and just tossed out play balance because the thing is bound to be completely screwed there anyway. They could have done that and probably without much effort, but of course this is Capcom, where you can't even save in SF2 Hyper.

Well, this is a suprise.

I've come to terms with the fact that Capcom will never re-draw their sprites in high-res. It's just not going to happen. 2D is almost dead in the marketplace- it's either this, or 3D games only. So, if this is all the Capcom 2D I'm gonna get, I'll count my blessings and not bitch.

That said, I fucking want this game NOW!!! I really hope it's jam-packed with even more characters than Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 had.
