Unfortunately, like normal MvC2 play, that one isn't fun either.

Can you just kill me in SF3? Then I can blame my defeat on the unstoppable power of Chun-li's monster thighs.

bleah. That's what I get for taking SRK at face value. Oh well.

Sure, it was cool in SFA3 and CvS2, but not every game needs it. In this game, it looks like everyone will be playing like they did in their respective games, and I don't know how that'll mesh.
I'm of a mixed feeling here, because I really like the flexibility of having different systems to choose from. The problem is, the more systems you pile in, the larger the chance you wind up with an S-Groove, or something dominant like V-ism.

Locking each character into their specific system will help things somewhat though. They don't have to worry about seeing how custom combos will affect every character's special moves, just those few who can actually use them. I wonder if they'll also make it so things like Alpha counters are different for people in different games. The DS system was the best one, imho.

Bahn: You'd better be showing up at ECC.

I swear, "serious" 2D fighters don't like to have fun. As much as I can appreciate a solid engine, there are times when filling the screen with super blasts and sprites is just plain fun.

I actually am more prone to NOT have fun when playing a "solid" or "serious" fighting game (3rd strike, VF4Evo) because if I lose, I know I can't blame the broken-ess of the engine...only my inferior fighting skills.

Meh. I'd like to, but I am not coming unless someone gives me a ride or something.

Sure we do! But, there are different kinds of fun for different people. For example, I have a lot of fun beating up on Bahn in ST

Maybe. But that's incentive to improve!

Bahn: You can always ride with DSP!

Then they're stupid, because all of those games BUT MvC2 are fun.
