Yeah, I figured it was because his CvS2 sprite was easier to cut & paste... the comment still stands pertaining to either game.

Because everybody already owns this game. No, I don't freaking care if it has Warzard guys in it - that was a slightly above average fighting game from a decade ago. Yippee.
This is a straight-up cash run, but unlike SNK they can't use the "we only had a year to do it!" excuse. Besides, even KoF has 4-5 new characters every year. It's been what, 3 years since CvS2? And I'm supposed to get excited because some guy clicked the "make new game" button in the Capcom house version of Fighter Maker? Feh to that, I say.
It's time for Capcom to show a little more respect to its fighting franchises. They've never topped SF3, and that came out almost 10 years ago now.

The idea is cool, but if this is the 2D revision of Capcom All-Stars, no thanks.

They never left. Recently they've been releasing the improved console ports of arcade games.
Man, they redefine laziness.
Doujin fighters have better sprites than Capcom now.
