Communication is so easy now as well - you hold in a button and point your mouse to the saying you want. I dont think the mic chat works yet.
One of the cooler things is you can split up into squads. When you die you will respawn right with your squad, and not at one of the capture points like normal. Voice chat can only be heard between your squad and the commander (when it gets working). Best thing about squads is you can lock out anyone you want - so that means you can have all your friends in a squad and no assholes.
Now, yes this battlefield feels tighter than the previous BF games but its still not tight enough. Ground combat is still the same to me. It feels cheap and generic, especially compared to games like HalfLife 2. I dont actually feel like im shooting someone in BF2 like i do in HL2 or CSS. It is fun blowing people up tho and seeing them flying a billion miles up in the air. Graphics took alot of tweaking to get it to run right. It does an auto tweak which is total trash. It did all the wrong settings for my machine. I got it running really good now though.
That said, Im definately buying this game on day one. Its almost overwhelming because theres so much crap going on at once all around you. I love the class system which is very TFC-esque. I cant wait to see the other maps.
