Thread: Capcom Fighting Jam vs. Street Fighter Anniversary Collection

  1. Puyo Capcom Fighting Jam vs. Street Fighter Anniversary Collection

    Let's try this again...

Which game do you prefer, and why?

I'll be picking up SF Anniv. first on Xbox...just hope it's not laggy like CVS2: EO was.

*kicks Andy* (still awaiting your proof btw that PS2 is going to also offer online play. So far I've seen no confirmation of that from any major site. Not that it matters too much to me, Xbox version would rule regardless).

  2. I'm looking forward to CFJ a little bit more than SFC because it's a semi-new game, as opposed to something that I've pretty much played to death.

SFC is still gonna be cool though.

I'll definitely pick up SF Anniv. on Xbox so I mop the floor with bahn and get him to stfu.

My friend John and I have bought crappy red octane Xbox stick, which we have gutted and will soon replace with good parts (he's got the hook up from his friends. Looks like the whole process will only cost about $35 when everything's said and done...

I'll put up pics and whatever when we're done. If we're successful, we might be able to crank out a few more in case anyone is interested.

  4. Haha, you deleted the other thread? Pwned

And I never said the PS2 one would have online play, btw, just that Xbox Live was confirmed for both. I really don't expect the PS2 ones to have it, not that I care either way though, with the XBL official.

That said, like I said before, Fighting Jam looks like a pile of shit to me. I'll pick up AC for SF3TS alone, though.
Buy Yakuza and Oblivion. Help yourself, help TNL.

  5. I highly recommend the "gut a shitty stick and put good parts in it" technique. You can end up with a killer stick for cheap.

Anyway, I don't know what this Aniversary collection is, but if it's a SFII compillation I'm going with that all the way.

What about a compilation featuring SF:The Movie, Street Fighter 1, and Street Fighter 2010?

BTW, this collection is 3rd Strike and Hyper SFII.

  7. I wish I could select "Street Fighter Anniversary Collection" though "I suck at fighting games."

Does Street Fighter 2010 really deserve to be in that company?

ummmm..... who could resist that one?

Even better than a SFII collection. The only SFII that matters bundled with my favorite SFIII. So yeah, it still kills Fighting Jam.

SF 2010 would be the only reason to buy Zerodash's imaginary compillation, actually.

Nah, Cheebs... Hyper SFII is that amalgamation of all the SFII games, where you can choose different character versions from each iteration... say World Warriors Ryu with his invincible shoryuken vs. SSFIIT Ryu with his stupid forward+Fierce dash punch...

Doh! I was thinking SFII Turbo Hyper Fighting.

    Too many damn SFII's!

    ...
It still beats out Fighting Jam
