So, Who here liked original Shrek? It came as a surprise for us, with some great humor beats, interesting take on fairytales, cool animation and just great sense of fun.

So now 2 years later, the sequel had arrived.

Here is Ebert's review of the film. He gave it 3 stars and liked it, but does say that its not as good, or orginal as first film was. Fair enought.

Hopefully, We can catch it this weekend, if we will have some free time.

Anyway, I am appalled that there is even a thread devoted to this atrocity of modern film, and from Mr. Happiness-and-Bright-Colors-Make-Me-Cry, himself, no less. Burn in hell, you green piece of shit.

The first film was okay, but then I saw it before it actually came out and had low expectations going in.

This one, I dunno... I already hate it for the insane amount of merchandise and tie-ins. It's even more widespread than Hulk tie-ins were last summer, and that was on friggin' everything.

Speaking of Shrek 2 merchandise, I'm getting the PS2 game sent to me. The movie looks pretty good, I liked the first one, and the sequel looks to carry on that trend. Eddie Murphy is just too funny as a voice actor, almost as funny as he was during his stand-up prime.

All the reviews I've seen have been nothing but positive. I liked the first and I'll check this one out when I get the chance. Release kinda snuck up on me.
