Awesome program, but I don't think that's my problem.

The thing is, Securom doesn't like my DVD-RW. Nearly every recent Securom game I've tried does the same thing. The drive acts like it can't even read the damn disc when the game starts.

A no-cd crack would work, but I prefer to avoid those if I can help it.

Well..you might as well use it strictly for the single player mode. Obviously multiplayer would be an issue right.. but then again you got a real cdkey so its no big deal. I use no-cd cracks for all my single player only games..see no reason why I shouldn't use 'em.

  4. I just mounted the image and hide my drives when I play.

  5. I just got the special collectors edition in today

There are no rules, only consequences.

  7. I like it, and me and my brother were deathmatching for a while last night.

I still haven't touched multiplayer nor will I bother but I am really enjoying the single player game more and more as I play. The gunfights are fun, the visuals are better than I give it credit for (I wish I had a better pc gaming rig) and I like how they space out that "ring bitch" scary stuff. They don't go nuts on it which would have killed the pacing.

I'm more than halfway through the game (it has 11 intervals..I"m up to 7) and I like it. I shouldn't doubt Monolith anyways as I have always enjoyed their games. I hope they use this engine for N.O.L.F. 3 (please please please!).

If you liked the demo you'll like the full game.

Does it run the same as the demo or is it less of a resource hog? I liked the demo but it sucked setting the graphics to ultra-pixel-fest for me to run it decently.

mm..runs about the same really. The patch that was released claims improvement but I didn't see it. I put most settings on max and some like volumetric lighting on medium and I certainly have soft shadows off. I also play on 800 x 600 to get good frame rates. The game doesn't look so hot and its jaggy like hell on that res but at least its more than playable on my pc.
