  2. Anybody up to world 5 yet? 5-3 is kickin my ass bigtime. It doesn't seem necessarily hard, but it's difficult to time the switches for the conveyor belts to get the key where you need it. :S

    edit: and www.mariovsdk.com has strategy videos up, I learned a thing or two for previous levels although there's nothing up for as far as I'm in yet...

  3. Wow, this game is awesome. I'm not very far in, but this is the most fun I've had with a Nintendo game in a long time.

    It's 25 dollars on sale, put 20 or so on the Gamer's Gift Card and then just use that to pay for the game. The GGC has a 5 dollar off coupon on the back.

    Try and look for a cashier who knows what they are doing now... at my Best Buy, most of the standard cashiers know all about the trick now and they don't have to waste time trying to figure out what you're trying to do.

  5. Not to advertise the site in my sig or anything... but if you want replayability, we're most likely gonna be adding the game pretty soon, if it gets a little more support, and someone can verify the names and numbers of stages properly.

    As for the game, I'm only on World 2, but already I'm really enjoying it. Getting the high scores is satisfying, learning something new every stage is rewarding, and the levels are pretty innovative, although a little simple.

    Don't worry, that'll change in world 4.

    And I'd like to add, that the boss in world 5 is a bastard.

  7. So how is everyone finding the game? Is it pretty much the last DK but with better graphics, because I'd be fine with that. A radio station was giving away an SP + Mario Vs Donkey Kong if you were caller number 9. I knew the answer, but as always, the line was busy.

  10. Finally picked it up today. I'm up to World 6 now. What the hell is up with all the reviews bitching about the difficulty? It's insanely hard to get a star in the later stages, and since you have to get all of them to unlock another 6 worlds, there's no reason to bitch about length either.

    Yet one more example of how professional reviewers are full of shit.
