Not sure about if its bad or not yet, but its definately much lower budgeted than original film.
I will rent it next week, and post my thoughts after I watch it.
The first one was horrible. I wish they would've realized that.

The first one was not horrible, it was highly entertaining. The second is complete trash. I watched it on said movie channel and couldn't bear to finish it. Complete trash, avoid at all costs.
This one is like a mediocre episode of Space Above and Beyond.
