Thread: Battlefield Vietnam Patch Released

  1. Raspberry Battlefield Vietnam Patch Released

Finally, EA has made the jungle fun again with the release of the 1.01 update for Battlefield Vietnam. Since the game's release, it has been rendered average by server lag issues, weapon balance issues, and graphical and sound glitches, all of which are made well with the update. In addition to fixing those problems, 1.01 also allows you to sort by ping when searching online games, a feature overlooked in the original release. Hopefully, this will be enough to tide you over until the 1.1 patch, which will be the first to include a new map, "The Defense of Con Thien," and two new helicoptors to go with it.

So, head over to the official Battlefield Vietnam site and make your copy of Battlefield Vietnam as fun as it should be.

If you don't already have the game, go here and see why you should.

  2. Good to see EA fix this game up relatively quickly.

  3. It's one of the most solid PC patches ever. It fixed everything that needed it, from what I can tell.

It still can't make omfgninjas good though.

  4. Even with the problems, there was a decent time to be had. Despite my asstastic skills, I might have to start playing this again. If only EA was quick to act like this will all its games.

And to think that Battlefield 2 is gonna be even more pimpin' than this. Damn....

  5. Everyone should love Battlefield 2.
