USB Adapters for Neo Geo Controllers

Thanks Gohan. I posted 2 of them on ebay at 150 each. The only mistake I made at this point is post on neo geo.com. Those guys have changed since I been there last. They start flaming you for very little reason, and even banned me. I'm not trying to be a crybaby, just beware of that board.

Apparently so. They didn't ban me the second time, once I questioned their judgement in my thread. They came to their senses eventually, but a whole slew of insults still followed.

I used to be a regular lurker/poster at NG.com. I still would be if work didn't block the site. Most people there have always been a little insane, but that's nuts for banning you.

People with HTPCs, that want some kind of reminder that they're still playing arcade or neo games with neo quality controls. I like neo's controls in general, so there's no reason that people should use it to play only neo games.

If these were usb adaptors for a more sophisticated conroller, then I could understand the price, but the neo?
The NeoGeo controller design is so dead simple that all you really need to do is solder some wires from the donor pcb to the port. Now, you obviously went well beyond this in terms of craftsmanship, which I can appreciate, but I'd make my one if I wanted one.
I don't mean to sound harsh, and I sincerely hope you find buyers since it's always nice to see a fellow hobbyist find some success, but I think you may want to find a way to cut your costs and your price if you plan on selling more than six of these things. And I agreethat you shouldn't let anyone tell you what your time is worth. I know computer techs who charge fifty bucks an hour to watch windows install itself, and what you're doing is a lot more difficult than that.

I believe Neo geo.com may have banned you because it's not an official SNK product...I seem to remember reading at some point that all non-snk Neo geo stuff was banned, because SNK/P said so if neostore is to still be the official US distributor of shit.

But I haven't been to the forums in eons either.
