Cybernator was a blast, though I never beat it, Konami's trimming down of the story and removing the character's anime portraits trying to make it more action-oriented always did irk me some.

Glad to see it's getting a next-gen sequel like this, and in 2-D no less!

Aw, I fucking KNEW there had to be a more in-depth story mode in the Japanese release! I have an art book by Satoshi Urushihara, and in it are several pages of character designs for the game that never appeared in the version I own...I knew those designs were done for a reason. Fucking assholes at Konami USA...
