Thread: anyone still play with thier Super Nintendo?

  1. I still play my SNES all the time. It's never been put away. Most recently been playing Chrono Trigger on it.

  2. Anybody know if the character artist for that game is the same guy who did Starblazers/Battleship Yamatto? They look quite simmilar.
I'm pretty sure it's not, but I could be mistaken. You might be interested to know that the game is based on the anime series Area 88. A number of volumes saw release here way back in the laserdisc era, I'm sure a few made it to VHS, but I haven't seen any eps come to DVD.

Playing Lufia II now, thanks to Icarusfall's awesome SNES sale a while back.

I still play my SNES. It's easily my favourite Nintendo system for first-party and third-party games.

  4. Not much these days but I have bought and sold it three times so I'm taking it with me to the grave this time. Part of it may be that it's a pal machine, those blackborders suck the fun out of a lot of games but I have no interest to fork out for a ntsc one.

  5. I've been meaning to hook up my SNES lately and go a few rounds with Cybernator (especially after reading the Cybernator PS2 remake thread) and Blackthorne.

Gymkata: I mean look at da lil playah woblin his way into our hearts in the sig awwwwwww

  6. I still play SNES but on emulator. Everytime I fire it up, I end up playing Chrono Trigger for the zillionth time instead of finishing up a game from my pile of shame. *sigh*

  7. I was playing some Mario All-Stars last week. I'm going to have to bust out Super Punch Out soon, that game is simply glorious.

  8. I still play my SNES on a regular basis.
Hell, I even buy new games for it now and again.

Last week I got Jacky Crush.
My domestic catalogue is more or less complete, so I'm looking out for Super Famicom games.

Games like Umiharakawase and Violinis of Harmelin get the most playtime around here.

  9. If I ever get my stuff out of storage, I'm gonna be busy with secret of mana for awhile.
"Your soul better belong to Jesus, mmm-mmmmm..... cause your ass belongs to me!"

  10. Once in a blue moon I fire up my SNES. Last I checked I'm in Fourside on Earthbound for the gazillionith time. I've also got stuff like Secret of Mana, Uniracers, TMNT IV, etc, etc.
