Thread: The Worst Movie You've Ever Seen.

  1. Why not?

South of Heaven, West of Hell. (shoulda known something directed and starring Dwight Yoakam would be this horribly bad)

The memories are coming back to me...NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Please stay as far away from this movie as possible. If you're an idiot and do happen to watch it...dumbass...again!

    Later all...

The original was one of my favorite movies as a child, still enjoy watching it today. But the second was just terrible, bad dialogue, poor acting, ridiculous plot-devices, contrived ending. It scarred me for life and bastardized the memory of the original worse than the Phantom Menace did. Ugh...
There was a 3rd Neverending Story. It was 10x worse than the 2nd one.

    Phear the rock baby....

  3. Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation - This movie is a complete slap in the face for everyones favorite Chainsaw dancer. It really is more of an accidental comedy than anything, and features Matthew McConaughey and Renee Zellweger before either of them ever reach fame from REAL movies. Absolute crap.

Exorcist II - Anyone who wants to see the sequel to the incredible original would be better off renting the third movie in the trilogy and then attempt to erase any knowledge of this movies existance from their memory. Once again, crap. Absolute crap.
"In the beginning, the universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry, and is generally considered to have been a bad move."

  4. Hey, hey. Ghost of Mars wasnt that bad. I actually liked it. Sure the sroty was done many times over, but it still have a good cast(for me anyway ), and action was violent and bloody just I like it. When was a last time where action film had soo much blood, they usually go for friendly PG13 rating.

    Now about bad movies:

As it was mentioned before - Eyes Wide Shut - I have no idead whats so a big deal with it. I thought it sucked, direction was good, but story was pointless, it was too long, and at the end nothing happened.

The Haunting remake - Great CGI FX and nothing else.

Speed 2 Cruise Control - Now, we have another winner. Soo friking awful, Willem Dafoe was terrible, and so was the rest of the cast. FX were good, but even they couldnt help.

Buble Boy - Also was mentioned before. Pointless, not funny waste of time.

Behind Enemy Lines - One of my favoire pick as crappiest film - It started good with cool scenes with missile evasion and explosions and then - Run Owen Wilson Run, and that for next 60 minutes, and he being sho at with anything starting with hand gun, and ending with tanks, and nothing can hit him in even at close range. Plus final battle with 3 US helicopters that I guess used GameShark code to be invicible, against 20 tanks and 100 men with various weaponry, with only about 1000 feet between them is fuckin pathetic. US ofcourse won, and without ANY casualties!!!! Really AWFUL stuff!!!

  5. You want some bad movies? Try and top these:

Contact: A 3 hour Jodie Foster movie of nothing but dialog.

Beastmaster 2: The Beastmaster time travels to the 80s. WTF!!

Rappin: A movie that tries to ride on the coat tails of Breakin and Breakin 2 Electric Bugaloo's "success". Pure garbage.

No Retreat No Surrender 2: The first one was ok in a B-Movie way, but the 2nd...what the hell happened to Bruce. Who the hell is this Rambo wannabe?

I can think of more, but I doubt anyone will be able to top these.

I agree with all the rest, but Beastmaster 2 is fucking classic. Actually, it is bad, but it is bad in that cheesey 80s way, and there is so much worse then this. PLUS it has ferrets in it. Anything with ferrets in it is better then 20% of the movies made in the 80s.
    your mom

  7. I personally hated FF: The Spirits Within alot. That would be the most recent movie I wish I never seen. I felt zero attachment with what was going on with the movie, and pretty much after 10 minutes most the people in the theatre around me was making fun of it. I would list Batman and Robin, but my friends and I are always using Mr. Freeze's dialogue as jokes (Do you know what killed the dinosaurs? The Ice Age!).

  8. Damn. I forgot about Batman and Robin. I watched that turd in the theater and felt like I was watching a movie version of the old 60s show.

    Of the last 10 years...

TCM: The Next Generation is definately a candidate. Nothing about it made any sense at all, and it didn't even have the accidentally hilarious comic appeal of the original. But good ol' Matt crushing some broads head with his hilarious mechanical leg made the $2 rental worth it, so this ain't the worst.

Night at the Roxbury was easily the worst SNL spin-off movie of the last decade, but it is prety damn hard to beat Wayne's World, so this isn't the worst.

The new Planet of the Apes was downright embarassing on Tim Burton's career. I was literally laughing out loud when I saw the ending in the theater, quite entertaining. So for the ending alone, I won't make it the worst.

My vote, all in all, goes to Castaway. Talk about your overrated movies, nothing about this one was any good. Excessive overacting by Tom Hanks, a plot that wasn't even semi-interesting, and perhaps some of the best (or worst) examples of a script gone awry. The friend I went to see it with and I couldn't help but yell some smart-ass comment every 2 minutes, and half the people there were pissed at us and the other half were laughing their asses off at some of our in-movie commentary.

*whale shows up next to makeshift boat*
"What, is the whales tail going to knock Wilson back to him?"

"Oh, I never lost faith that you were alive! I never stopped loving you!"
    *friend Ray in fellatio voice*
"That's why I'm screwing this other guy!"

Heh. Perhaps there were movies with more overracting or more horrible scripts (I've seen some pretty bad pornos), but Castaway in particular left me extremely dissapointed, and I seriously hated everything about it.

  10. Worst movie ever... Camp Nowhere.. this crap was actually made, and i saw in the theaters... i think TWICE!!! why oh god did i see it twice..

    North.. and another crap movie..

Star Wars episode one.. is up their too..
