I've had some ideas for a Movie Script it would not be a film in the sense of a regular film but a indy one, that looks into Hell, misery, and suffering, all inspired by recent nightmares that are vivid I could probally with the right direction could get something going, just for fun and theraputic reasons. Or I may use the dreams in a twisted Horror film, it's really scary more than any gore, but the hell thing is something I'd love to touch on, I may work on some rough drafts this Summer.

Oops you're right.
actually, I'm working on some...stuff.
Everyone in the history of mankind has movie ideas. All besides me.

I had one that I did wayy back in high school for of all things spanish class. I, then recently re-worked it and I started working on it. When I was in a creative writing class. Everyone loved it. If I ever complete it, I'll show you all(or those interested).
I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me.
I haven't wrote any actual scripts, but I have come up with a few ideas as far as stories without a medium yet. They could work as books, or as movies, one can work even as a video game (RPG, of course).
The main idea that I'm working on right now is for a play, actually. The idea came from my desire to write a musical, with my friend doing the writing (she wrote a play that I was cast in off-broadway), and I the music. I got an idea from one jazz song I wrote, but the topic was way too somber and dark to be in a peppy broadway musical.
It's set in the early 70's, and I want it to feel like this story could have actually happened, so I have a lot of research to do, not only on the climate of NYC during that period, but other things that directly pertain to the story.
But it's FAR from complete, besides a general synopsis of the plot and characters. Perhaps once it's close to completion, I'll share it with the board. I want to try to find an off-off-broadway theater company to put this on one day. I'll let you all know how things go with that.
Man, I envy you. Writing a musical would be a fucking hoot.Originally Posted by SonofdonCD
I'm working on 3 stories, a serious drama, a comedy, and a fun horror flick. They really can't be described without going into length though. I think I may have found an original key ingredient for the horror flick which hasn't been done before, and the serious drama is quite original too. I'm not too happy with the comedy though, as it currently stands, its pretty mediocre, minus a few great gags.
Ever since I got serious into music (like senior year of HS to freshmen year of college), I had the idea to write a musical. Hell, I wanted to get into film scoring (a lot of people say that my stuff sounds cinematic), video game music (I have written some stuff with that in mind) as well as jazz, funk, blues, R&B and some other popular styles. I like multi-tasking and being multi-faceted. I hate being pigeon-holed into doing only one thing; its too restricting.Originally Posted by arjue
But this play idea will have a bunch of jazz tunes I will write for it, but not in the typical musical way. The characters are actual musicians, so the songs will be performed in the context of their careers, not in the middle of just walking down the street. But writing the songs will be the easiest part; writing the actual dialogue is the challenge.
