Thread: Smackdown Vs Raw: Official

  1. More greatness, apparantly, created belts can only be worn by the CPU opponent. That's going by a barely-readable GameFAQs post though, so lord knows if it's true.

Day of Reckoning needs better multiplayer features such as elimination modes and it would be tops.

This Smackdown game is easily the second worst in the series history. I don't know what they did, but they fucked up big time.
DoR was terrrible becuase of story. Most linear thing since WMXIX. pathetic. They also needed more match types like te chamber.( Is Xbox getting a WWEgame)

  3. DoR was anything but terrible remnant. Linear doesn't make a game bad, and i thought the unique and fresh approach to the story mode was a welcomed addition and a great way to avoid DoR being Smackdown. They did need more match types (elimination is mandatory) but it was a good game. I also think it should be harder to bust someone open.

  4. I'm just glad they made busting folks open harder to do than in WM XIX, I wish they'd get rid of those damned cutscenes for it though. This belt guide will be ready to rock and roll in about a day, I can't wait to get it posted.

  5. The ending in this game sucks again.

The ending for part 4 (Shut your mouth) was awesome.

  6. Yeah, all those goofy debug wrestler poses were awesome.

That is something that they added to this game.. I don't know why either.

Good news: Yes, the Xbox will be recieving a new wrestling title around the time WM hits.

Bad News: It's being built by Studio Gigante(the people responsible for TAO FENG)

  9. Am all for a good story but smackdowns story is the best story mode in wrestling game history. No mercy had linear stories but they are better than DoR becuase they were diferent than each other. I wish they had done a smackdown story mode that was a bit linear but involved all the belts.
For example I get out of the development , off of heat and into raw. Instead of getting thrown in evolution That path depends on how I wrestle and use those momentum changes in match. If I act good I stay out of evolution and go for the the INt or Tag titles. If am bad I go to evolution and get in that storyline. Also the stories HAVE to be different on different shows. The new ministry? Are you kidding me?

Will the Xbox ever get a good wrestling game? Ever?

  10. Apparently Bret Harts moveset is basically Sean Michaels with a sharpshooter finisher, Chavo's is Eddy's moveset and all of them have generic moves in the same positions in most cases. The game screams master moveset applied to everybody and a few changes made... I seriously don't know what THQ did for a full year.
