That's the Genesis one right? If so,then yeah, it's beatable. The game is pretty hard, but I didn't find it THAT difficult.
yeah im just wondering. has anyone here every beat this game?
im guessing maybe NeoZeed. but yeah, i dunno, i'd like to know if it's even possible. cause i really want to check out some of the final bosses.

I've beaten it and gotten both endings. Yes, two- it's possible that uh, something bad can happen to Naoko.
Finished in 2021: 8 games (PC: 4, PS4: 2, PS3: 1, X1: 1)
I have to be honest... This game is really not that hard. I too have seen both endings.
It isn't that its hard, its just that damn maze that's the last level that gets on everyone's nerves. I beat it years ago, but have forgotten the ending.

I was proud to have a copy that still had Spider-Man in it... but no Batman.

Yeah, I have beaten it but ever since Shinobi 3 came out I rarely play Revenge.
Even though it kills a bit of the challenge, I usually play Revenge with the infinite shuriken setting. It's more fun that way.
I love it when I'm in the heat of battle and press the wrong
Ninja Magic. I'm speaking about the Smash pack one, but I
could never get the good ending. IMO this game is highly
overrated even in its day. I prefer the Arcade original.
It's not impossible. I had bought it day one so it had Spiderman and Batman. The jumping was the trickiest part (lvl 7 pier). There is a trick in level 6 or something (inside a factory) with a hard to reach 2up and if you die it keeps coming back and you could keep getting live this way. It involved jumping off the edge of a conveyor belt. I think for me the hardest GEN Shinobi was Shadow Dancer. One hit kills, remember? The dog is uselesss in the last level with black ninjas all over the place. The last boss was petty annoying.
i hated shadow dancer. that game still haunts me to this day.
