Thank you IP for making this thread!
I've started to dream more lately. I find myself visiting places in dreams that I used to dream about as a kid. The thing is, I've never really been to these places. Does anyone else's mind fabricate places that don't really exist, and constently revisit them in dreams?
Why does the mind do that?

thats happned to me a few times. But the places are bits of different places put together. I think the mind does that so that the things we are dreaming about make more sense.
Does that make sense ?
yum yum yum ... Delicioso
Usally it is places that I've been to as a child, or completely new. I've rarely went somewhere that was a mismash.Originally Posted by 46 and 2

I almost always dream of a mixed enviroment.
I'll be in my room but walk out the door to find myself at someone elses house, then outside will be like my school or the strip mall I used to work at. or smoething like that.
But no completely new places?
Yeah, usually for me it's a mish-mash of places I've lived or jobs I've worked at. What gets me is the dumb-logic I seem to have in these places. Like - I'll be looking for a soda or something - and they'll be underneath my bed wrapped in Christmas paper - and for some reason that's perfectly normal.
I'm generally happier with the world when I don't remember my dreams. All the most memorable stuff tends to be things I'd rather not have kicking around my head. Still, the odd flying one now and then is nice.

yes dream logic is retarded. "the town is over run with vampires, that is normal." NOTOriginally Posted by Super-Eggroll
