  1. I've seen it at Wal-Mart, but don't like it too much. Generic Aldi soda FOR LIFE!

Wow Pepsi, you managed, with only ONE CALORIE, to taste like my ass hole.
I think Pepsi One tastes noticably better than Diet Pepsi. It's the best soda out there. Too bad 1 store in 100 actually carries the stuff.

And Diet Rite? Dear lord guys, now that really does taste like ass.

cool thanks. will you bring josh?

  6. The worst is Trader Joe's line of soda. As...odd as Diet Rite is, this stuff is certifiable shit.

You must have different tastes than me, because there is NO way I could begin to mistake C2 for regular Coke. It isn't even on the level of a different country's Coke, where you can tell the taste is off, but it's close enough to pretend. C2, to me, tastes like another company's attempt to reproduce Coke or something.

And while I have nothing but hate for diet soda, more power to those of you who drink it. I, however, never could. I'd much prefer just switching over to water at that point.

Unless, of course, you're one of those people who drink caffiene-free diet soda. With the exception of those who have some sort of medical condition that doesn't allow them to drink even regular diet soda, if you drink that stuff, you deserve to be mocked.

... oh, and has anybody ever had Coke from Mexico? I noticed a non-Hispanic grocery store here carries it, and I'm sort of curious as to why. Is the taste noticably different?

I've got a case of caffeine free diet coke in the fridge right now After a while it just doesn't matter much. A little texture via carbonation, and a little flavoring, that's all I really need. Just something to break the monotony of water. I should probably just drink seltzer waters or something.

And technically, technically, I'm not supposed to have caffeine, so I guess I can slide on the medical condition.

Super Mercados in Chicago carry Mexican soda, including coke. The only difference I could ever tell is it comes in a glass bottle.

Like stormy said, cane sugar vs. corn syrup. I think it makes a big difference, but then again, it's been so long since I drank soda regularly that I probably couldn't even tell anymore.
