It's nice to see gamestop.com and ebgames.com reducing their price immediately, but my local Target is somehow *still* waiting for "official word," and I have until Friday to get my $100 rebate. I know, I know. Patience; for the Jedi it is time to eat as well.

Now that the PS2 and Xbox are $200 I'm going to do a little shopping within the next few weeks.

OR:

I could wait a little while longer and catch up on the 60 or so games I still need to get to among my other consoles.

I got on, stated my piece, he replied with a "Thank GOD you called this show with that important information" and *click* off I went. Whatever.

The important thing is that the people listening heard it, and that I got on the damned radio.

EDIT: Just had a thought; the show's email add is mancow@mancow.com, and I can't say how often he insists that he personally reads every email sent in. Maybe 20 emails to him from all you people telling him how "Great it was to hear of the PS2 price drop on May 14" would make him realize something... Just a thought
