Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle is proof enough that this movie will suck gaping asshole. Man, I'm glad I'm not a huge Superman fan...

But maybe McG will make it a bit entertaining with his usual over the top overuse of slowmotion and sfx.

That bit was so over the top it was entertaining. More fun then overrated scenes like 100 Smiths fight.

Sorry to disagree with you, buddy, but I thought the CA movies were just bad.

And I'm sure his next movie (before Superman), that's based on a LINE OF TOY CARS, will be even worse.

The only thing good that came out of McG's work for me was Fox's Fast Lane. I haven't seen his Charlie's Angel's work but he seems like a flash over substance type of guy and I'd rather it be directed by another person entirely.

So far it's been said that Stan Winston is making the suit which is odd since he's more of a creature design guy(even if his type of work does lend itself somewhat well into design).

But anyway, we'll always have the original Christopher Reeve Superman version as the definitive Superman movie.

I don't know how many people here are fans of The O.C., but he's an executive producer for that show as well. Looks like J.J. Abrams, the guy that created Alias, which is about the only thing worth watching on ABC, is writing it.

Yeah, he's been tied to the Superman movie since the beginning. I think the dude who directed Rush Hour 1/2 and Red Dragon was involved for awhile...I think it was for this, I'm not 100% sure.
