Thread: Hypothetical Question

  1. I'd let her go.

Happened to me in HS. GF wanted to hit prom. I don't go to those things. Said she'd go with someone else. Go right ahead.

If you trust her it doesn't matter who she goes with.

  2. Game Boy Advance

hrrmmm.. MVS has a good point, i trust her, so really it doesnt matter who she goes with.. i mean she already graduated. shit.. ok, this is a real situation, happening to me now..

I originally said 'no' and gave some reasons, but i didnt want to stick with 'no' cause your right, it makes me look like an ass, so i said she could go.... but i don't feel right...
You can never be one of the dead, because something that has no existence can have no community.

    Frontiers

  3. I suppose it's rare, but some straight guys actually don't have any interest in pursuing screwing a girl. If I were the girl, I'd probably be pissed if some guy were bitchy about me not going anyway.

Let her know it bugs you. Guilt can go a long way to keep one out of trouble.

  4. It is beyond extremely rare that a straight guy has NO interest in screwing a female friend. However, that doesnt mean that it was neccesarily the kids intentions for asking her.
    your mom

    You have 2 choices.

    1) Bite the bullet and take her.

    2) Let her go with someone else.

It bothers you that much, I suggest #1.

Forcing a chick to forgo prom isn't the type of shit they tend to forget. Think about that next time you are around her in a kitchen with lots of very sharp knives.

    MVS, it's not thier prom

  8. Seems harmless to me, assuming your sex life is good. I doubt she's going to let some high school kid bang her unless you're no good, in which case she deserves to get some decent action. More than likely, she is just flattered and nothing too bad will happen.

  9. Yeah man, you should let her, it'll show that you trust her alot and that you're not afraid to let her be with another guy when you're not there. It's a plus for you since she'll see you as a better, more trustworthy person and a plus for her, since she'll have alot of fun...without you.

  10. If it's not even her prom, I don't understand the attraction for her to go. My girlfriend would certainly never do something with a romantic edge alone with some other male, and that's not even with my voicing my opinion. It's just understood. Same with myself.

So, if she can't explain why she would go to a romantic funtion with someone else rather than spend an evening with her boyfriend who she loves, then that's a pretty big signal right there.
