Dumbest Public Relations Of Gaming? EBGames.com leaks MS Secrets!

Hey, just dropped by to dump a topic here for a friend to see later on...

I was at EBGames.com and going through all the XBox games. I saw a game called Murakumo. The game looked absolutely hideous, so naturally I go to look through all 10 pics supplied for the game. The last pic is (was, soon, as I doubt EB wants it there) of the XDK, the XBox Development Kit given to developers. Yes, the XDK is nothing secret or special, you are correct. But I just find it funny some PR for Murakumo submitted a pic of the XDK Launcher as a screenshot. Their PR needs some QA! :)

off the top of my head.. lame/annoying gaming PR moments:

1. Anything that sony put out to hype the PS2 pre-release: george lucas comments, tech demos... anything to stop SEGA

2. Ultra64.. to think, I would be playing arcade perfect killer instinct at home.. i got killer instinct gold

that made me want to punch.

3. SEGA's (if in fact they put it out) 2004 E3's super announcement.

You forgot the cell chip, that will get more powerful the more people are online because it will somehow magically use them all as a giant multiprocessing network. Quite possibly still the stupidest bit of hype I've heard from any company yet.

It's not really a big deal. I just fluffed up the topic name.
The deal, even if not "big," is that the picture they (PR of the game) posted as a screenshot of their own game, had nothing to do with the game, and was breaking an NDA with Microsoft by showing the XBox SDK. It's just a stupid mistake they made.
