You can't trust any of the things you learned from them to be accurate when they don't have a clue about the big picture of game history.
The thing that infuriates me is that they do know a lot of shit. More shit than I personally know. But they sometimes insist on doing podcasts on things they don't know without the proper research.

That kind of thing really frustrates me sometimes. Sega-16 has been around for 10 years. 10! It's not exactly some obscure site that no one knows about either. It's not a major outlet, but I'd like to think that most people in the retro gaming community are at least aware it's around. I would hope that people would use it. Of course, when Nintendo bias is involved, fact-checking is not important.
Is that the one where one guy said the 32X was shit (sure!) and had like 2 good games (fine!) and that the Sega CD was just as bad (Whaaaaat?)
AND his two good games were like Sonic CD and Ground Fucking Zero Goddamned Texas.
And then I ripped out my pubes using my teeth.

hahaha I posted about that when I heard it on Gaming Age and Jeremy Parish jumped in to defend Retronauts by saying he wasn't there but he likes the Sega CD.
wut
I can't tell if I'm more surprised someone would make that their pick or that they could single out such a game when they clearly have never heard of the system before.
brb making an expert podcast about the MSX, which consists of the one time I installed an emulator of it to play MG2 for five minutes.
I'm making a podcast on the TurboGrax-16.
In my expert opinion, the best games on the system were Deep Blue, China Warrior and JJ & Jeff.
