Thread: Awesome new Genesis site is up

  1. Crap, I forgot about Landstalker! That's a game that really deserves to be on that list. Maybe I should change it for DJ Boy...

Fixed the TS mix up. Thanks!

    I agree.

Good start and stick with it.

  3. So when is NZD gonna make a site?

Or at least contribute more to TNL?

I was asked if I could contribute to Got Next and I said I would do some stuff occasionally. I have kind of run out of ideas though. I'm so used to doing message board topics that focus on chronologies and picture links and have me ask questions to fill in the blanks. I don't focus on writing quality really at all in TNL threads but for a site article I would have to. Actual writing isn't something I'm good at.

  5. I redid the reviews page. Now you can see all the reviews at once. In each review, you now have the option to go back to the main page or the page for reviews of that letter.

    How's that?

  6. Very nice site, fun to read around. Any reason for all the latin spread about? Maybe there's a reason going over my head or something.

Taken from the Panorama Cotton review.

EDIT: Found a slight problem with your master list. Went to A of the Gensis list, and the Publisher column is like... chopped in half. Tried fullscreening IE (yeah, I use IE ) and it made no difference. Dunno if it's just my end or not. (NOTE: It just seems to be that single page, every other one is fine)

  7. The site continues to improve, looking much better than a few days ago. One thing I would look into though, the buttons you have to navigate (like at the end of reviews) have rounded corners, but they put in a white box. I would find someone to make the white parts transparent or something, it would make them look alot better.

Other than that, things look they are comming along, good job.

I have no idea why you're seeing this. I'm looking at the review in both Fire Fox and IE and don't see that anywhere.

I get the same thing in IE and only on that page. Fire Fox give me no trouble though. I wonder what it is? Anyone know?

I noticed that as well. I'm still a bit of a noob in Photoshop but I think I can at least do that.

  9. Melf, I looked at the source code for the A page (which is fucked up), and the B page (which is not).

Look at this in the A page:
    <td> <table width="111%" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="4">

Now compare it to the B page:

    <td> <table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="4">

    That's probably it.

Now I require some cash for my consulting services.

  10. A few corrections to the Master List:

The Genesis versions of Double Dragon 1 & 2 were not developed by Technos. They were both made by contracted developers.

DD1 was published by Ballistic and developed by Accolade (or was it the other way around, I can't remember). DD2 was published AND developed by Pal Soft.

Technos never developed an actual Genesis game themselves except for a cancelled Popeye game. Also, the only Mega Drive Double Dragon to get a Japanese release was DD2 (DD3 and DD5 were not released in Japan).

Also, DD3 was developed by Eurocom
