Can you buy ammo in this game or what?
I'm perpetually out of ammo and tired of hunting for boxes.
This is my first Windows LIVE enabled game, and it was very odd getting messages from Razor, seeing people pop on and off-line, and earning achievements in a PC game. I think it's very well done. Playing with the mouse and keyboard instead of the 360 pad makes the Home key take the place of the "X" logo in-game.
I'm liking the game a lot but the lack of color is pretty grating. I completely glossed over Megaton's skyline when I first set foot in the town, but after wandering around a bit I took a look and noticed just how packed with little details it was... it's a superb foundation but the lack of colors other than brown make it extremely easy to miss.
Now look, I understand it's an atomic wasteland and all but... even cavemen found out how to paint. Microwave dinners and spatulas and teddy bears and computers survived the explosions, but nary a can of Sherwin Williams?
"I know our lives are endanger from radiation, mutants, and scavengers, but what do you think about mauve for the bathroom?"
It really sounds like you didn't do any research about this game. Everything sans the lifeless animations are why people WILL buy this game. It's an RPG in a post-apocalyptic world. (world's which don't tend to have a lot of tropical jungles and lush waterfalls around) And it's a hardcore RPG at heart.
More research next time.
Lavender would accent the cabinets better.
