I've heard vague praise for this with the 360 game pad on the PC. Since my roommates have it on PC, I was thinking shit, why not. I've never done this before, though. Is it easy to configure/play reasonably well? I've always been told that PC games are poop with the 360 controller but I can't do keyboard+mouse functionally.
It's literally plug and play. The "Games for Windows" games actually assume you're using the 360 pad until you tell them otherwise.

Played this for several hours last night. I originally planned to blow up Megaton(And I'd really like to as a lot of the people there are asses) but there's just so many quests within I need to do and it's currently the only well equipped town I've found. I still plan to blow them all to hell eventually but it's gonna be quite awhile before I can do that.
Only thing I don't like so far is the random battles when traveling around the world. For me, what makes them bad is the leveling system as entering a town/or dungeon will lock the level but all the enemies attacking you in the wasteland is the usual Oblivion crap where they've leveled up with you.
Ah well, at least shooting apart someones skull with the VATS is the most satisfying thing since Gears' various ways to kill.
