So what does one use to repair the Ranger armor? I got a set from Riley and I'm assuming I won't be killing Rangers to get more armor.
I'll try that. I noticed I could select a quest, but nothing more about it came up. I noticed the compass markers too, but at times I had 4 or so all indicating NW or something, so it wasn't much help.
I can't believe others wouldn't have issue with the inventory though. I'm at point where I'm having to seperate everything (by item type) into different lockers in the house, and it's a real chore. To be honest, I don't like having to go through the pipboy to do every little thing either. There should be hotkeys to get into your map, condition, or whatever. Maybe it would feel more natural if I was playing with a 360 controller, but the kb/m controls are really limited...can't even assign anything to mouse buttons except L/M/R.

There's a BIG exploit that will essentially allow you to level up without firing a shot.
In Big Town, talk to Bittercup about her relationships. Then, talk to Pappy about here. There will be a speech option that grants XP when successful. You can ask the same question over and over, and if your speech is high enough, you'll be successful 100% of the time. Each time you ask nets you between 25-35 XP, and you can raise a level in about 5 minutes.
I did this on my second playthrough to get the karma achievements for levels 8 and 14.
About Tranquility Lane:
Man, that was awesome and fucked up! It reminds me of that short story "I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream". It was creepy as hell when Betty started talking in that old guy voice. Best quest so far. I murdered everyone.
I just finished it. pretty dumb that you have a mutant resistant to radiation with you at the end and you can't send his ass in and live
