Man, that ooze crap growing in the installation looks sick. The bump mapping in this game is ridiculous... try turning it off and seeing how huge a difference it makes to the graphic quality.

ANYWAY, has anyone had this game lock up on them? It's happened about 4 times now, and that annoying "send a report to MS" window pops up.

i know i know. i was just being silly. if you check that thread, you'll notice that i posted quite a bit.

and no, i haven't had any lockups, but i'm with nvidia. my only problem were these recurring audio pops. very irritating. i fixed it by turning off write caching on my hard drive.

I'm using the beta drivers and I havent had it happen. It's probably your 9500 Pro begging for mercy, run it at a lower resolution. Sheesh

Also, FedEx are bitches. They can't seem to deliver a single package to me without screwing up somehow, they've now fucked up at three different houses. I wish I could tell companies to ship USPS Priority, I've never had problems with them. So yeah, my videocard won't be here until tomorrow and I can't get it myself since their only pickup location is a couple counties away. Seems pointless to have a pickup location that's an hour drive away, but maybe that's just me.
