omg, you assholes didn't do your jobs by bumping up this thread. Went to Tower Records today to get Shawshank Redemption special edition and forgot all about Ren and Stimpy, which was on sale for 29.99, can't beat that.
Didn't have enough for it though...

I'm pissed.

Hmm, I wasn't really thinking too much about getting this, but it has the Royal Canadian Kilted Yaksmen episode, with that awesome song...

Eh, I'll get it somewhere down the line, but there's too much stuff to buy during the holidays.

The Best Buy version of the set has a bonus disc with two third season episodes, so I'll likely get that this weekend along with MAT 2.

Damn, we don't have a Best Buy here in Augusta. The closest one is in Portland, over an hour away. Do you know which episodes are on it?

I just bought it, btw. I didn't know the Kilted Yaksmen ep was season 2, I thought it came way later. There are some episodes on here that I thought I'd never see again - "Fake Dad", "Out West" (oh the Lord loves a hangin'..), etc.

I'd completely forgotten about that hangin' song, that'll be worth the DVD's price in and of itself, especially since I have some reward zone bucks.

I'm so all over this. Though really I only give a shit about the first season. After John K left it was downhill.

There's an interview with John K. in the second issue of GameStar magazine (which arrived today, and has a review of the DVD set on it.) There's not a lot to the interview, but he does confirm that they're hard at work on new eps in humorous fashion.

Apparently like 5 of the second season episodes still have cuts. Lame. Partuclarly for a set advertised as "uncut". Though like 3 or 4 episodes genuinely do have scenes restored.
