Ok I'm not sure the percentage of the fake clips but it must be 80 percent or more, my friends and I thought it was all real back in the day. It's psuedo hokey documentry form, but in part 5 was a laughable part where a Magican's trick goes horribly wrong and his face gets crushed, with little kids in the audience watching. Some of it is plain unsetteling but anyone else see these tapes?

I've seen some of them, and I believe they've all been proven to be fake.

I've seen the first one, with the monkey having it's brain eaten and the guy being drawn and quartered and all. Way back then I had no idea what was real and not either. I'd actually like to watch it again now and see what's what.

Dole buddy I don't doubt people eat monkey brains but I believe that was hoaxed, with lame camera shots. I only heard it was a fake but I have yet to see it.

They eat monkey brains in certain parts of the world. Just like cow tounge/brains. I never heard of what was real and what was fake.

That along with the guy beind drawn and quartered were obviously fake. However, there was some news footage-like stuff that was real I believe, like people jumping out of buildings and things like that.

When I was going to Tech school, my room mate brought home Faces of Death 1-3. Some of it was rather disturbing, but other scenes were laughable. The guy in the gas chamber was just too funny. He's holding his breath, lets out a cough of smoke/gas and falls over. I think they would have strapped the guy to the bed, if it was real.

I've been told that the electric chair scene is fake, but the site of spit boiling out of the corners of his mouth, sure seem hard to fake. The commentator, talked about how the eyes are taped, so that they don't pop out of the victims head. Hollywood always shows the guy in the electric chair, with nothing taped to his face.

I saw one of them, which had a guy commit suicide by putting a gun in his mouth that he had taken out of an yellow envelope. I looked around on the internet, and found out that one was real. I heard most of the other stuff is fake though.

Has anyone seen the Banned In American videos? I don't think anything is fake in there. From the lady getting hit by the train to the chinese guy whose face is on fire, those videos make Faces Of Death look qute tame in comparison.
