  1. Will the original JL episodes ever be available on DVD?

  2. #12
    Speaking of which...

I just saw that episode with the Flash, Green Lantern, and Gorilla Grodd where the Flash is full on chasing a truck for 10 minutes. Then GL punches him in the face when he's running.

The man can move so fast he can vibrate through solid objects. This is retarded hack writing at its worst.

Actually, I'm not sure the JL Animated version can. I've yet to see him do so in any of the episodes I can remember.

As to the chasing a truck thing, eh, he was enjoying the sport.

A lot already are, as individual DVDs with 2 or 3 2-parters. The Starcrossed movie just came out a week or two ago, definitely check it out if you missed it on TV, it was superb. I believe they will be releasing a season 1 box set of JL shortly under the DC heroes line, of which they recently released the box sets of Batman: the Animated Series and Superfriends.

In season 2 I think he vibrated fast enough to get through the chains that were holding him in the parrell universe's JL.

  7. Saturday, Aug. 28: "Kids' Stuff"
Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman and Green Lantern are transformed into 8-year-olds in a desperate attempt to save the world from the magic of Mordred.
Wow, that sounds fucking terrible. I hate that shitty ass cliche plot line.

Anyway, I'm looking foward to watching this, but I hope with all these new people running around they don't neglect Batman.

In the same episode, he got out of police handcuffs. I assumed he vibrated through them.

While the people in the trucks fired shots at him, endangering the general public? Not even Wally is that irresponsible. Barry Allen would NOT approve

Actually, he sped up his heart beat until the monitors couldn't detect it and thought he flatlinned. Then Flash smacked the parallel Bats after he started removing the cuffs to check on him.

  10. definitely a good thing for the animated series. I remember the Paul Dini and Bruce Timm apparently wanted to take the original Batman series in a similar direction where they would explore different aspects of Gotham City and talk about the other heroes/ villians. I think the Jonah Hex Episode was a prime example of that.

The Question thing is great, he was one of my favorite characters from the more "adult" DC line in the 80's. Though i wonder if they will just stick with the character of the Kirby original or the changed DCU version of it...

thats right, the weird gas though was an "adhesive gas" made to stick the mask, that made him look like he had no facial features, to his face.
