Thread: Justice League Unlimited

  1. Yeah it was a cool little episode. The only thing I'm not liking so far is the lack of the "unlimited" crew. The last 2 episodes could have just been normal Justice League episodes since only the original crew were in 'em.

Agreed. at the very least they should give us some more Green Arrow.

Damn skippy. The first episode got me excited to see more of him and now nothing for 2 weeks.

  4. 8 Year old Wonder Woman gave me a stiffy.

At first, it was involuntary and I was disgusted with myself, but then, it became kind of cathartic, and I realized... it was as it should be.

Cartoon Network aired them out of order, so the core Leaguers are getting more of a focus than intended by the creators.

Kid Stuff was really fun, and the dialouge actually was quite fantastic at bringing out the childish nature while never abandoning how the characters behave as adults. I still think it was a stupid premise and would've rather had a dramatic episode, but they pulled it off much better than I was anticipating.

For the Man Who Has Everything pwned it though.

  6. Tonights episode of JL - WORST episode ever.

Wonder Woman gets turned into a pig. A ridiculous amount of time is spent following her around. ie. butcher chasing her, her interacting with pigs. Stupid guest star DC heroes who are recruited to help find her. I mean Batman cant find a pig with silver Wonder bracelets in the middle of Gotham - Master Detective and tracker Batman

Thats not even the worst part.

    Batman FUCKING SINGS

I cant believe that with the entire pantheon of of DC heroes and villians this is all the writers could come up with. Give us Spectre, more Green Arrow, the new Aquaman, some Nightwing or Robin ,FUCK give us some JSA members or something.

    Whoever greenlighted this needs firing.
This shit belonged back in the Superfriends era of JL. not my current JLU episodes.

  7. Batman needs to be signed IMMEDIATELY!

  8. That was the greatest episode in the history of episodes throughout history ever.

    1) Wonder Woman is turned into a pig and called Wonder Pig.
    2) Batman sings.

Need anyone say any more? I think not. Absolutely brilliant.

It was written by Paul Dini, who can't be fired as we're lucky to get a freelance from the man when it suits him. Sorry you didn't like it, but I'd imagine if you're any sort of fan of the DCAU you probably wouldn't want to badmouth Mr. Dini.

  10. Tonight's episode was good, if a little longwinded and boring, at least for me.

But the fake 3d shit REALLY has to go, the robot Supergirl was fighting at the beginning didn't mesh with the animation AT ALL.

There was no point for the robot to be 3D, so I'm a bit confused.

The reference to past JL and Superman eps was nice, too.

The fact that professor hamilton was behind the whole thing, one of superman's closest allies was hella shocking.
