The invasion was awesome.One of the things that I was disappointed about was not seeing the New Gods from New Genesis jump in to help out. I thought they were all about fighting Darkseid and preventing him from taking other worlds?
It was cool to see Jonn come back. When that Chinese dude started fighting I was like who in the fuck is that? Bad to see that we dont get to hear what he's been up to this whole time. Then again maybe I dont want to know, especially if he's been bagging old Asian grandmas.
Superman cutting loose on Darkseid was cool,but I dont know why he let up, did he expect to hear Darkseid say, "Yes, Kal-El,I've had enough. I'm going home ". And Batman was a letdown. I was hoping he'd have been trying to devise a plan to defeat Darkseid. Instead he proceeds to Roundhouse kick this god in the face. Nice plan...not.
And I really dont get the ending. I know Darkseid had to be defeated, somehow, but what happened? Really. I guess only a twelve level intellect can truly know what the hell went down?
That, and Vigilante avoiding getting skewered by a parademon = . Unless it happened off-camera.Which I think it did.

Bummer that its the last episode, but like I said before, its a good series and it was a fun ride while it lasted.

Agreed. It can be played off by saying they were defending New Genesis itself (Darkseid does say he's attacking there as well) but we should have seen them in some capacity.

Very agreed. I thought he was some obscure Chinese hero. That was an awesome surprise.

A level twelve intellect or Vigilante. As a motorcycle driving cowboy super hero he is intrinsically aware of any and all occurances.

Yeah. I still hope the DCAU will continue in some form or another but it's looking less and less like that will be the case.

Oh man, that was fucking great. I loved Superman punching darkside in the mouth, that scene along with the little mini speech right before made my jaw drop and I could feel myself being paralyzed by the sheer awesomeness of it all.

Its really sad to think that the DCAU is coming to an end, but like others have said, it was an EXCELLENT ride while it lasted, and I doubt we'll ever see anything like it again.

Actually, I haven't. I'm waiting to watch them on TV. Not a lot of HD space left for me, and my computer is old and slow... waiting to save it to the DVR is better for me.
