Right, I told him there were guides on the Pelican stick in aim, didn't know YOU made one... I had to drill because I used the old Red Octane Xbox stick to do it (they were $23 on clearance a while back).Originally Posted by Shapermc

You know, you can go and look at the book at this thing called a "store". You can also buy it there too, I think.Originally Posted by hanzo
I picked up SFAC on my lunch break & tried 3S out a bit at the store. It looks fine (from what I could tell on the Shitty EB TV) & it really does feel a little better than the DC version. I was actually parrying as well, or better than I normally do on the standard PS2 pad.
Can't wait to get home & really get into it.

I officially take it back and will soon have a copy of the PS2 version LOL...cause for our weekly get togethers we just have to play the best versions on these games...oh well...I'll still get the Xbox...damn you Capcom, damn you!!!

With the exception of guilty gear isuka (i'm getting xbox's reload) the 2d strat games and skygunner are the only ps2 games i own.Originally Posted by Ammadeau
I've always played GG with a pad (generally the god-awful PS2 d-pad) and by and large I have no problem. I have to start learning stick for it because I can't progress with Millia without it, like how doing her 2369+P is impossible for me with a pad. I practiced doing that for a couple hours a day for about four days straight and could still only pull it off maybe once a day, and while I'm sure someone out there can do it just fine with a pad I'll never be able to get it consistant.Originally Posted by ssbomberman
Thing is, even when I did get it it was generally high, about another character height or so up from Millia's head. Getting it so it was an immediate attack was more fluke then anything else.I haven't pull it apart yet but the screws seem to be a hair off, enough that if I use the already-drilled holes I'll probably have to put in the screws at a angle. But honestly, wouldn't it be easier (and the same amount of soldering work) if I just relaced the switches with the Cherry ones off the Competition Stick? Or does the stick itself differ in some noticable way?Originally Posted by Shapermc
As for the buttons, I don't think I'll replace them. The extras ones I have are great but I have no problems whatsoever with the pre-installed set. Sure, they're a bit looser but it doesn't affect my game at all and that's a lot of work for something that won't change anything. As you might have noticed from earlier comments, they're the same thing.Originally Posted by ChaoofNee

Yep, I'm practicing with the PS2 one now, then getting the other in Jan. Sadness.Originally Posted by Mzo
