I'm not sure I still have the tools to modify the base (actually, I don't think we ever had a jig here, we used a saw to cut the wood for my custom stick) nor do I nessecarily want to carve it up. Maybe at some point, but I'll probably get a Competition Stick soon.I don't understand part of that article. He shows that the Happ stick gets triggered earlier but then says:Originally Posted by Shapermc
Don't those go against what he just went over or am I misreading him? And wouldn't you want an earlier trigger for parrying since it returns to neutral faster? Also, the Sanwa "feels" like a tighter stick. Note: I had the Happ joysticks set up as 8 way, which has a larger actuator. It's all in the name of Street Fighter.Wow, this went way OT.![]()

Got the SF collection, where is the so-called Animated movie that comes with it? It sure as hell only came with one disc...
You have a certain number of frames to return the stick to neutral IIRC. Most sticks should do that on thier own, although some of them (mine) are shitty and don't, so it actually becomes an issue.

Alright, starting to get the hang of single parries. Unfortunately, I still suck complete and total ass at doing Supers to the left, my hand just doesn't want to curve in a double-quarter circle fast enough for combos.
So, uh, could everyone please make sure to stand to the right of my character at all times? That'd be great, thanks.
I'm getting better at multiple parries, but I have to do it them on a pad. I can do singles on the stick, but I guess I just need to practice.
It took me 3 attempts to get down chun li's super (ala daigo). If you instant blocked more in Guilty gear, parrying is fucking pie. Moral of the story, play guilty gear.

I used to be able to do that too, the problem here is that I'm not used to a stick. Moral of the story, practice.Originally Posted by Destin
