  3. Then you'd lose the lucky hit greatness, which is more than worth the cost of the Xbox version in and of itself.

    {x}obligatory stupid-ass mainstream gamer bashing.

EDIT: and what the list really meant to me was that only 60,000 people bought the second worst verision of spider man 2, while 200,000 bought the absolute worst version of it, while only 140,000 bought the right one, to me that said that the ps2 owners have about 140,000 more people willing to settle for less than the gamecube user base.

    Fantastic post FrostWolf

Do you eat crack in a bowl with milk for breakfast? The GameCube and Xbox both are better pieces of hardware than the PS2, but the PS2's lineup crushes them both combined. I remember a time around here when it was about the games (I think). Sure the PS2 is a piece of shit hardware design, but its third party support and great first/second party stuff like Sly Cooper makes it the only console to pick if you can only get one.

    Yes, too true, too true.

And while in theory I agree with you, and if anyone asks me what system to get, I generally will mention the wealth of games on PS2, in practice I'm okay without one, right now. There are SO MANY games our on Xbox that I haven't bought yet but crave, that I really don't have the time nor money to do the multi-console thing (as much as I'd like to). So for now I'll suffer, until the PS2 hits that magic number: $99.

  7. That is very true, it is hard to do the multi-platform 'thing'. I just got rid of my PS2, so my cube and xbox get some good play now. I don't think many people have the time or money to invest in all 3 systems, plus whatever other older consoles they have. I tried it, meaning one system just didn't get played...
I guess you've learned the benifit to waiting.
I agree, they should give people like you something. Perhaps a kick in the balls would do nicely and make you slightly less retarded.

Well thats your opinion on it, but the way I see it, I'd rather have it over any other system, with Xbox coming close second. IMO, the GC has a lot of original titles that are on it and will be coming out on it. Examples are Monkey Ball, Eternal Darkness, the Zelda series, and games that will be coming out that will own are RE4, Metroid Prime 2, paper mario 2, Star Fox 2 and several others. I got tired of all the GTA games and its clones, and although the other sytems do have some games worth while, they just aren't what I've been looking for lately. So my point is, I really don't care which system has the better sales and which games from which system make the most money, it's all about the games I wanna play. If the PS2 or Xbox start to come out with a bunch of games I want, then maybe I'll think about getting one (another PS2 since mine broke quite some time ago).

Honestly I dont really care about your opinion.

If you wanna send me $100 to buy the system I would go and buy it, but its my money and spending $100 of my money on that stupid system, plus the cost of games and a memory card, is not worth it.

I love when people put this out there.

Let's see, there's GTA 3 and Vice City.

Then for the "clones" there's The Getaway, Driv3r, and True Crime.

Man, I tell you, so many GTA clones on the ps2. You know, there's almost NOTHING else on the system except for clones of GTA.
