The premire episode of "Rescue Me" was this week. For those of you who don't know it's a new Drama/Comedy on FX that follows the lives of some FDNY guys. Most specifically it follows Tommy Gavin (Denis Leary) who halucinates seeing dead people (lost while he was trying to save them from fires or 9/11) including his best friend/cousin.
I don't want to spoil anything from the first episode, but it looks like this series has a whole lot of potential if it can keep up this pace. The comedy is inserted just right, the serious parts are done well, the cast is great. Everything, and I mean everything, is done well. Hell, the theme song is C'mon C'mon from the Von Bondies.
Anyone else see it? Like it?

Anyone been watching this season? The last ep already airs next week. I think this is my favorite show on tv. Tonights ep was fantastic. This is honestly one of the coolest/funniest/dramatic/exciting shows on tv. I hope someone else around here catches it. I hate seeing the credits role and knowing I have to wait until next week to see another episode. Damnit why can't they air it for 24hrs straight all at once!?

We just started season two over here. I fucking love this show. It's weird because... no one's really good or bad. They're all sorta grey and slightly crazy too.

thats odd. But yeah, its a GREAT season. The 2nd to last ep is a HOLY SHIT! episode. Season finale should be good.

Can someone explain to me how Tommy can be so fucking dumb? How long does he think he keep his kids? There's no future there? Anyone with half a brain can see that. (Yeah, I'm only halfway through season two... so sue me.)

The Remix
Has any one else been watching this lately? This season has been excellent so far, every episode has been great. I think this is one of the best and underrated shows on tv. Its funny, exciting and very dramatic. Plus, it is nice to watch drama that actually has things happen in every episode and you don't feel like you've wasted an hour of your life watching it (what a novel concept).
